Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Eye Care on 3rd a proud provider of vision care products and services in New Brighton.


Dr. Tiffany Burick

Dr. Burick is a graduate of New Brighton Area High School and continued her education at Saint Vincent College. She then graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2013 and moved back to New Brighton where she resides with her husband, Harry, and their son, Liam.

Dr. Burick spends her free time volunteering as a member of the New Brighton Area Rotary Club and the Daugherty Township Volunteer Fire Department. She also enjoys being outdoors and camping in Tionesta, as much as possible.

She practices the treatment of ocular conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as, diabetic evaluations, surgical co-management, contact lenses, and a special interest in pediatrics and dry eye.


Dr. Sheri Sturm

Dr. Sturm grew up in the Beaver County area and earned her undergraduate degree fromSlippery Rock University. She then went on to complete her professional education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida. There she earned her Doctorate of Optometry graduating with clinical honors in 2007.

Dr. Sturm practices full-scope primary care optometry. She is involved in the treatment and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and diabetic retinopathy. She co-manages refractive and cataract surgery and is certified in the MiSight myopia management program.

Dr. Sturm currently resides in Cranberry Township with her husband Nathan, and their children Max and Lily. She enjoys running, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.


Kathleen

Kathleen grew up in New Brighton and is a graduate of New Brighton Area High School. She attended Slippery Rock University for 5 and a half years completing a Bachelors and Masters degree. After college, she moved to Arizona for 4 years. She eventually moved home to be closer to her family. She currently lives in Verona, Pa with her cat Salem. 

She is avid Steelers football fan and never misses a game. In her free time, she is usually playing video games or reading a good book. 


Jacob

Jacob

Jacob grew up in Allegheny County area and is a graduate of City Charter High School. He attended Westminster College in New Wilmington for 4 and a half years completing his undergraduate degree in Psychology. After graduating, Jacob worked with both children and adults providing and advocating mental health services and support to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In addition, he managed and operated a local winery and brewery in downtown New Wilmington for 6 years. Jacob currently resides in New Castle, PA with his partner and his cat Nugget.

Gardening and baking are his passions and he always enjoys creating something new in the kitchen. In his free time, Jacob loves watching a good movie or building a fun table top puzzle.
